AN UNUSUALLY STRONG COASTAL STORM IS EXPECTED TO IMPACT MUCH OF THE
RHODE ISLAND AND MASSACHUSETTS COAST WITH STRONG AND POSSIBLY
DAMAGING WINDS LATE TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING.

..HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT LATE TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY
MORNING...

NORTHEAST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE TO 25 TO 35 MPH TONIGHT INTO
WEDNESDAY MORNING WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 50 MPH ALONG BOSTONS NORTH
AND SOUTH SHORE AS WELL AS THE CITY OF BOSTON. THE PEAK OF THE STORM
IS EXPECTED VERY EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING...WHEN NORTHEAST WINDS COULD
REACH SUSTAINED SPEEDS OF 40 MPH WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 60 MPH. THE
THREAT OF DAMAGING WINDS SHOULD END BY NOON WEDNESDAY.

STRONGEST WINDS FROM THIS STORM SHOULD OCCUR FROM THE BLUE HILLS
SOUTHWARD TO PLYMOUTH.

EVEN IF THESE HIGHER WINDS DO NOT MATERIALIZE...GUSTS AS HIGH AS 50
MPH COULD STILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO TREES...BRANCHES AND POWER LINES. BE
PREPARED FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF POWER OUTAGES.

THE STRONG WINDS MAY CAUSE POWER OUTAGES. HAVE EXTRA BATTERIES AND
FLASH LIGHTS AT THE READY IN CASE YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD LOOSES POWER.
