..THUNDERSTORMS WITH SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS ARE POSSIBLE THIS
AFTERNOON...

COLD TEMPERATURES ALOFT WILL SET THE STAGE FOR SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON OVER SOUTHWEST NEW
HAMPSHIRE...WESTERN AND CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS AND NORTHERN
CONNECTICUT. A FEW OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS MAY CONTAIN SMALL
HAIL...WIND GUSTS TO 40 OR 50 MPH...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND
VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS. THERE IS AN OUTSIDE CHANCE THAT ONE OR TWO
STORMS WILL BE STRONG ENOUGH TO PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND GUSTS.

THUNDERSTORMS MAY MOVE INTO EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS AND NORTHERN RHODE
ISLAND AFTER 5 OR 6 PM.

STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO AND OTHER LOCAL MEDIA FOR FURTHER
DETAILS OR UPDATES.
