..A FEW STRONG TO POSSIBLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS COULD OCCUR LATER
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING ACROSS NORTHERN AND CENTRAL PORTIONS OF
THE REGION...

A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH NORTHWEST MAINE THIS EVENING...THEN CROSS
THE STATE OVERNIGHT. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS
QUEBEC PROVINCE THIS AFTERNOON IN ADVANCE OF THE FRONT. THESE STORMS
COULD BEGIN TO AFFECT NORTHWEST PORTIONS OF THE REGION LATER THIS
AFTERNOON. A FEW OF THE STORMS COULD BE STRONG TO SEVERE WITH
DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL. THE BEST CHANCES OF STRONGER TO
POSSIBLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NORTH AND WEST OF A LINE FROM
GREENVILLE...TO MILLINOCKET...TO HOULTON FROM LATE AFTERNOON THROUGH
THE EVENING HOURS. A LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL THEN MOVE
SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE REGION OVERNIGHT WITH THE COLD FRONT.

IF YOU HAVE OUTDOOR PLANS LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING BE ALERT
FOR THREATENING WEATHER.
