FLOOD STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAUNTON MA
1159 AM EDT THU JUN 30 2005

..WHILE ISOLATED BRIEF FLOODING IS STILL POSSIBLE IN SOUTHERN NEW
ENGLAND THIS AFTERNOON THE POTENTIAL APPEARS TO BE LESS THAN
YESTERDAY...

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH RAINFALL OF 1 INCH IN 30 MINUTES ARE
POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON...ESPECIALLY WESTERN AND NORTHERN
MASSACHUSETTS INTO SOUTHWEST NEW HAMPSHIRE. IF THEY OCCUR AS
FORECAST...THEY WOULD CAUSE BRIEF POOR DRAINAGE STREET FLOODING DUE
TO THE EXCESSIVE SHORT TERM RAINFALL. HOWEVER THIS CONDITION IS NOT
ANTICIPATED TO BE AS WIDESPREAD AS THAT OF YESTERDAY.
