FROM EASTPORT ME TO STONINGTON (DEER ISLE) ME OUT 25 NM OVER ATLANTIC
COASTAL WATERS
INCLUDING CUTLER...SOUTH TRESCOT AND WEST QUODDY HEAD

AT 339 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE A THUNDERSTORM...PRODUCING STRONG WINDS OVER 40 KNOTS 7
MILES SOUTHEAST OF MACHIAS...OR ABOUT 8 MILES WEST OF CUTLER...MOVING
SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

THIS STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR
CUTLER BY 350 PM EDT
JONEPSORT BY 345 PM EDT

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS...HIGH WAVES...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...
AND HEAVY RAINS. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY...UNTIL
THIS STORM PASSES.

THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE SUDDEN WATERSPOUTS. WATERSPOUTS CAN EASILY
OVERTURN BOATS AND CREATE LOCALLY HAZARDOUS SEAS. SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM EDT
TUESDAY EVENING FOR NORTHERN MAINE.
